Promotion Time is Here

God has been speaking to me for weeks about the fact that this a promotion time. I struggled with this prophetic word because let’s face it when you look for an earthly perspective what we are facing as a nation and internationally is tough times. As many of you know I have been writing for years on the value of the prophetic truths hidden in the Hebrew calendar and how God speaks prophetically to us as a people of God in times and seasons through it. No matter what we may be facing in our lives the word of God, the Torah, and the Hebrew Calendar remain the same. They are long standing truth direct from God that cannot be shaken. We know the power of the word of God and the testimonies of the lives of those written within the Torah writings and the Bible who were changed when they obeyed the word of the Lord first and not their circumstances. When we look at our current world and the loss and pain we have experienced worldwide from the coronavirus we are in a place of lack and fear, but this is not God’s truth and not His perspective. We must stand on God’s truth that never changes especially in the worst of times.

As the month of Nisan on the Hebrew Calendar is fast approaching on Wednesday March 25 at sundown, the Lord has been showing me the power of His words to Moses in Exodus 12 as we read what God speaks to him about what is upon God’s people and how they should respond in light of the news that an angel of death is coming to overthrow the Egyptian gods and ultimately release God’s people from bondage and move the Israelites into the promised land in Canaan.

We as a people are called to live by faith and faith alone. We are called to stand firm in the faith and not be defeated. These are words we minister to ourselves daily as we speak God’s words of life and remember the life of Jesus our Messiah as He walked the earth.

As all of us have been feeling intense spiritual warfare manifesting biologically, psychologically, socially, and economically. Many have chosen to look at their surroundings instead of God Himself. We have been given an amazing picture of truth in our very last month of the year on the Hebrew calendar called Adar. In this very month we read of the plagues that were sent to release God’s people from bondage. In Exodus 11 we read of the final plague that was to come by the angel of death.  In Exodus 11:9 (NASB), “Then the Lord said to Moses, ‘Pharaoh will not listen to you, so that My wonders will be multiplied in the land of Egypt.’” So, we see that God has this great plan to release His people by doing signs and wonders that will cause them to know only God could’ve released them from this bondage.

Then when we continue on to Exodus 12 we read that God puts emphasis on the new month coming for His people and the new strategy they would need to implement to survive what was coming ahead as God delivers them from bondage, protects them and carries them to the promised land. In Exodus 12:2-3 (NASB) God says, “This month shall be the beginning of months for you; it is to be the first month of the year to you.  Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying, ‘On the tenth of this month they are each one to take a lamb for themselves, according to their fathers’ households, a lamb for each household.’”

God is sharing to Moses that in this month of Nisan deliverance will come to my people and I will set them free not only from death, but they will take silver and gold from the Egyptians, their very own enemy. He says in Exodus 12: 5 -7 (NASB), “Your lamb shall be an unblemished male a year old; you may take it from the sheep or from the goats. You shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month, then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel is to kill it at twilight.  Moreover, they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses in which they eat it.”

Then He says in Exodus 12:13-14 (NASB), “The blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you live; and when I see the blood I will pass over you, and no plague will befall you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt. ‘Now this day will be a memorial to you, and you shall celebrate it as a feast to the Lord; throughout your generations you are to celebrate it as a permanent ordinance.’”

This memorial that happens every year at this time in the month of Nisan is Pesach or Passover. This is a month where we even as God’s elect remember that the angel of death passed over us.  We know Jesus as Messiah, His blood is our sacrifice for sin and sets us up to enter the promise to come of a hope, future and a destiny with Him now in the present and in heaven forever. Passover also happens in a month God calls a first month and the first thing is always very important to God. He is bringing them out into a new season at the very beginning of His year. He is doing the same for us.

Jesus Himself celebrated Passover as we read in Luke 22:7-8 (NASB), “Then came the first day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed. And Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, ‘Go and prepare the Passover for us, so that we may eat it.’”  Then after Passover supper with his disciples Jesus became the sacrificial lamb of God who died for the sins of the world, just as John the Baptist prophesized in John 1:29.

The Hebrew calendar is powerful in that is a lunar calendar and starts on the first month God called it into being when He spoke to Moses and said, “This month shall be the beginning of months for you; it is to be the first month of the year to you.” (Exodus 12:2) Our Gregorian calendar is solar and is based on man’s calendar set up through Julius Caesar and a later edict by Emperor Constantine at Council of Nicea in 325 AD.  When we look at our calendar right now and the trials we are facing internationally as humanity we can see that God is doing the same thing today as was done years before.

Every year before Nisan there is always a war for destiny. There is always a spiritual war in people’s lives and a time of great turmoil in the earth and the hearts of men, as God calls us to repent and remember He is God. God is sovereign over the earth and calendar and wants repentance from His people at this time. He always calls for us to take a look at our hearts this time of year before we celebrate Resurrection Sunday on April 12.

Every year God says I am going to promote you and bring you into a new promise for the year. A new time of positional increase and promotion. God’s voice does not change even though we are faced with a crisis such as the coronavirus. We need to still see the truth in God’s word and His calendar at this time. There is a war in many areas of our lives, the breakdown of our biology, psychology, sociology and economy is only one aspect. If this worldwide turmoil of the coronavirus was not going on, still everyone would be in a spiritual war right now for one reason or another, personally, professionally, it does not matter, it would have come because promotion cannot come without it. It is true on the calendar every year as we enter our promise land in Christ by faith always at Passover and the celebration of Resurrection Sunday, there will be enemy warfare before the promise comes. The resurrection is our promise for today and for eternity. This was true for Jesus when He was taken away to the cross and suffered at the hands of men was crucified, died, buried and then on the 3rd day resurrected. There was a war with Satan that Jesus paid the price to bring us into freedom from captivity. How do we think it will be different for us?

We must get our heads in the right place and maintain our position in Christ seated with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). Regardless of the fear and turmoil we must press ahead as the Hebrew calendar says we will be celebrating our promotion time in the spirit realm. This is a gift from God Himself that we died with Christ, buried with Him and resurrected in Him (Romans 6) Therefore begin to wash in that truth as you face your trial. I realize people are losing jobs, loved ones are sick, we are fighting for our lives, but the Israelites were doing this too during the time of Exodus. They did not know whether or not they would survive what God was asking them to which was to trust Him in the plagues and leave Egypt and then be faced with the Red Sea ahead and a miraculous crossing over. Yet, they did it. God covered them, protected them and took them through it and it was all to promote them and reveal the goodness of God.

No matter the pain in your life right now be it a lost loved one, lost job, lost income, overwhelming fear, anxiety, worry, depression or sickness, or any other calamity. Remember Jesus is our Messiah and He came that we might be resurrected in Him and live with freedom in our hearts and minds. Give Him honor and glory as you go through the warfare for your promotion. You are ultimately fighting the enemy to get you to the other side. Anytime there is a promotion there must be a war. You must pass through something so you get to where God has called you.  This will be over soon as I believe that Passover is a crossing over point and we will see the transfer of wealth and the promise come to pass.

In Ephesians 5: 15-17 (NIV) the word says, “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be foolish but understand what the Lord’s will is.” The word opportunity in this passage is the Greek word kairos. This is our kairos moment our season and appointed time to stand in faith and see the deliverance of the Lord for our destiny. In the Ephesians 5:16 (KJV) the word says, “Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” This word time is the same word kairos.  Jesus is redeeming our time lost or the opportunities that have been canceled or shut down due to this coronavirus, as He paid the ransom for our kairos moment, we must stand and remember Him and we will see the deliverance of the Lord.

So how do we handle things if we are fighting an invisible enemy that slows us down in progress and movement?

One thing we can do while we wait is to sow. In Genesis 26:12, we read of Isaac who sowed in the famine and in the same year received a 100-fold blessing. The word in Genesis 26:18, also says he dug the wells of deep from Abraham that were blocked up by the enemy and reopened them.  Let us do the same. Let us begin to sow and dig deep wells of faith and relationship with God through repentance and seeking Him in reflection as we approach Resurrection Sunday and watch Him be who He is on His calendar which is the God of healing, Jehovah Rophe, and God our provider, Jehovah Jireh. God is giving fresh creative ideas from heaven, grab a hold of them and run with them during this slow time. Get yourself strong in faith for the new that is coming so you will be ready to run the race once this global slow-down is over.

Hebrews 10:19-23 (NIV) says, “Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus,  by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh,  and since we have a great priest over the house of God,  let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.  Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”

By faith, respond with an action to sow and dig during this season and watch God by faith redeem us as this is Hiskairos moment and our kairos moment in Him, the appointed season on the calendar to expect warfare before the promotion. The righteous ones live by faith and they do not shrink back (Hebrews 10:38). We the people of His kingdom will not shrink back but press forward until the promises of God come to pass.

Victorious Relationships start with Victorious Mindsets

How to have Victorious Relationships this Valentine’s Day and Everyday!

Relationships make the world go ‘round. We were created for intimacy with God and each other in a safe place where the glory of God can come and bless those in relationships. Many times, our relationships do not reveal this level of authenticity or joy. This can be seen in marriage many times. One way we can develop ourselves so that we have more deep and intimate relationships is to understand the power of the victorious mind. Jesus had a victorious mindset and He wants us to cultivate this as well.

In 1 Corinthians 15:57(NIV), the Apostle Paul says, “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” We have the victory and we must wash ourselves in this truth daily by changing our mind.

One way to keep our minds victorious in relationships is to change our mental focus about who we are in Christ and the positional authority we have in Him. We are seated with Christ in heavenly places spiritually and we must position ourselves here in our minds everyday (Ephesians 2:6). We can easily get tripped up in our relationships and fall into traps of the enemy with anger, slander, discord, and lies when we endeavor to see people for who they are in a moment instead of seeing people for who they are from God’s perspective. In order to do this, we must have God’s perspective and be able to see from His vantage point.

In a critical moment we must see people as who God created them to be and the purpose for their lives, instead of how they made us feel in that moment especially if they made us feel negatively. We must join God in the proclamation of who we are and who He is and who God created them to be. Then when we are not having a good moment with a loved one or a colleague we won’t react with destructive words instead of love. Pain in our soul talks, especially past pain because of our hurts in the relationship. This skews our vision and ability to see people for who God created them to be and impairs our ability to join God in this proclamation.  Instead we join with Satan in condemning them or cursing them.  We must have eyes to see as Jesus did. This is a training process. The one who had so much love as to when He was being arrested and the sword came forth and the high priest lost his ear. Jesus put the ear back on the one trying to arrest Him. In Luke 22:51 (NIV), Jesus answered, “No more of this!” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him.

Okay, let’s get real. Who does that? That is the kind of love for others we are to have, and we fall so very short of it. However, we can pray and ask God to do this in us.

We must train ourselves to respond in all relationships as Jesus did.  Matthew 5:11-12 (NIV) says, “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.  Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.”

We must have a mind that thinks on these things as the Apostle Paul said in Philippians 4:8 (NIV), “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”

If we love God first, we will love ourselves and then others. We must always check our relationship with God first, then all things flow from that. We read this in Matthew 22:37-38 (NIV) Jesus says, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

In the marriage relationship, it is key to submit one to another. Many times, we think the word submission means we are opening ourselves up to abuse and that others will harm us if we choose to submit. This is not a victorious mindset in the area of relationships. Yes, it is true, that some people take advantage of relationships and harm the weak but if that is happening we are not obligated to submit in that area. True submission is out of love to promote unity much like the Holy Spirit submits to Jesus who submits to the Father. All three are equal in the Trinity yet they choose to submit in the area of their roles to bring about kingdom purpose.

The mystery between the man and the woman is the same as Christ and the church. The church is the body of Christ and the woman is in a one flesh relationship with the man. These relationships are sacred to God and meant to be cherished and honored. Even one is to die to self for the other in our flesh so that we can bring about unity and kingdom advancement in the home and in our communities.

Ephesians 5:21 (NIV) says, “Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.” Women need to understand that men receive love when they are respected, and women receive love when they are cared for and nurtured. It is two different needs that we must submit one to another on in order to make the union flow in peace. If you are fighting immensely with your spouse know and understand these truths, that one sees throughs the filter of respect and the other one through the filter of caring and nurture. God created male and female different from the foundation of the world to serve His kingdom purpose. Because we see differently through the lenses of our souls, join the other one in their perspective for a moment and watch amazing things happen. Ask God to help you do this.

The word says in, Ephesians 5: 31-33 (NIV), “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”  This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.”

Jesus has made us victorious beings and when we focus on our proper position with Him, seated with Christ in the heavenlies (Ephesians 2:6) we are positioning ourselves to revel in the victory that we have. We then endeavor to have relationships from this point first. We must ask God to give us eyes to see our spouses and others from this vantage point.

One way we can facilitate seeing others from this vantage point is to ask God in prayer to reveal what the scrolls of heaven have to say about our spouse or those loved ones in our lives. We can even ask this for people who we do not like so that God can give us spiritual sight for who He sees them to be.  Then we can join Him there in decrees and declarations for them. This will help release bondages and speak life into the lives of those who we are called to love and serve even if we don’t feel like it. It gives us purpose from heaven for those who need it.  Then we are participating with God in kingdom advancement of others and overall as a church body in our world. This brings the gospel into action.

Jesus was love in action, but He never left His seat in His heart with His father, He just changed His world from that vantage point. We must do the same by changing our thinking and overcoming in our minds to join God in who He says these people are. And by the way, He loves them!  So, ask Him what do the scrolls say about your spouse? What do the scrolls say about your kids, your friends, your co-workers, and your enemies?

Hebrews 10:5-7 (NIV) says, “Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said:

“Sacrifice and offering you did not desire,
but a body you prepared for me;
 with burnt offerings and sin offerings
you were not pleased.
 Then I said, ‘Here I am—it is written about me in the scroll—
I have come to do your will, my God.’”

Jesus had a scroll and so do we, and so do they. God wants you to be a support to who He puts in your life no matter what they have done. Lord, give us a victorious mindset and victorious relationships so you and your kingdom of heaven on earth will prosper! Double-mindedness Increases Demonic Warfare (Episode Three Article)

Demonic warfare is something we are all faced with as the enemy is seeking entrance through doubts in our minds over difficult situations in our lives. However, if we can learn to be single-minded in our devotion to the Lord we can decrease the amount of entry the enemy gets in our minds through doubt and fear and instead combat his tactics through faith. 

 

In 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (NIV), the Apostle Paul tells us that, “the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.’ 

 

We are called to take every thought captive to obedience to Christ which encourages us to remain in Him as single-minded and devoted to the Lord. 

 

2 Corinthians 11:3 (NIV) says, “But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.’ 

 

This pure and simple devotion is to have a single-minded focus on the Lord at all times. This means living in the reality of faith daily which ultimately pleases God. The enemy is prowling around looking to devour us (1 Peter 5:8) and we must keep our eyes on Christ to close the door on his lies and deception. If we walk with double-mindedness by lacking faith we open the door to fear and can be easily overrun by Satan’s scheming. 

 

James 1:5-8 (NASB) says, “But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” 

 

Let us learn to be stable in our ways by walking in faith, living by faith and standing in faith. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1.KJV) Faith is a reality and we can touch it in the spiritual and natural realms. Anywhere we are weak in our faith we are a target. So, let us attempt to strengthen our faith walk and close the door, for health, healing and blessings to flow. 

 

Stay In Your Heavenly Seat in 2020

In 2020, God wants His church to begin to realize the power of being seated with Christ in heavenly places. The Apostle Paul spoke of these truths as though they were to be evident by Christ’s body on a daily basis. We have been crying out to God for centuries for Him to return, well this is a key that can catapult His return in this decade. We must live with our spiritual senses of sight, hearing, taste, touch, and smell focused on the things of the Spirit. This will enhance our ability to be remain seated with Him in heavenly places in our souls. 

 

How then in 2020 can the church, Christ’s body, prepare for Christ’s return? The answer is in our ability to stay seated spiritually in the heavenlies with Christ, manifesting this by faith in our mind, will and emotions. This means our soul needs to submit to our spirit and we must keep our minds on things above, such as our spiritual position in Christ. The Apostle Paul received revelation from heaven on his spiritual position in Christ and he had many writings on this subject. 

 

In Ephesians 2:5-7 (NIV), he shares with the church at Ephesus that, we have been, “made alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.  And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.” 

 

We need to know our heavenly seat and stay there no matter our circumstances and distractions from the enemy. As we enter the New Year 2020 we need to make sure we are keeping our eyes and heart on things above where Christ is seated, at the right hand of God (Colossians 3:1). 

 

In 2020. I believe God wants His church to begin to prepare for His return by focusing on our spiritual position in Christ as His body. As we live by faith in this area we are preparing His kingdom. He will only come back when His bride is ready. That means we must live by faith in these truths now. 

 

The Lord also says clarity is coming to your soul in 2020. Clarity involves your spiritual sight. This includes your mental and spiritual understanding of being seated in the heavenly realms with Christ. 

 

The Hebrew Year 5780 started at sundown on September 29, 2019, this began the decade of the Hebrew letter Pey which means mouth. Since 2020 on the Gregorian calendar is the year of vision and clarity, as clarity comes to our souls (mind, will and emotions) we will be preparing ourselves to speak with our mouths. 

 

Psalm 34:7 (KJV) says, “O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”

Therefore, activate your spiritual taste and speak with your mouth. The greater clarity we have in our souls, the greater alignment with the heart of God to speak in faith. God is preparing His people to live seated with Him in heavenly places in the here and now, and you will gain clarity of this in your soul this year. 

 

He made a way through our death, burial and resurrection in Him, now it is time to stay positioned, in our seats on His lap, at the royal table. and remain, regardless of enemy distraction. It is here you will manifest the presence of God for overflow in 2020.

 

God is Establishing Covenant Promises by Faith in 5780

The Lord gave me a prophetic dream for Hebrew New Year 5780 concerning the decade of “Pey” which is the Hebrew letter for the number 80, a symbol that has the appearance of a “mouth”. Many prophets have been sharing that this will be the decade we must speak to move destiny and create change in the earth. In this dream, I was at the podium speaking and there was only a few people in the sanctuary and they were working in the back. These were people who care for the church and they were talking and taking out garbage. They represent the servants no one notices as they serve God humbly. I threw the mic in their direction and I remember thinking, “Am I losing my mind this mic is thousands of dollars and now it will be broken.” But when it hit the ground it bounced and then started bouncing off all the seats in the sanctuary that were even empty. Then as it bounced the mic got bigger until it was so huge it was like a boulder, and it turned the color red. It was a mic with the rock and fire of the Lord. Then the Holy Spirit said to me loudly in the dream, “My word will not return void but accomplish the purposes for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11) I woke up and began to pray and realized it was God saying that when His voice goes out it will continue to grow with fire until it accomplishes why He sent it. This word will be carried even by my humble servants who go unnoticed by others but God notices them. God had spoken to me a few weeks before that this would be the year He would establish covenant promises with His people in 5780. God establishes these promises with us because we are His children bought with the covenant blood of Jesus. When God’s word is spoken and released by us with faith it will come to pass.

At the beginning of the Hebrew Calendar there are 10 days between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, the highest holy day of the year to the Jewish people, these are called the Days of Awe. This is a time where God is calling us to step into covenant promises by faith through repentance, restructuring our lives, and also restarting old things, so we can partner with him for establishment of our covenant destiny.

When we talk about God establishing His promises with us, what does this mean? Well, a covenant promise is one that God makes to us and makes to our heart.  If God says, “I’m establishing covenant promises this year,” it means that He is going to be setting things in your life in motion to establish covenant and these are the promises that will be tested. These tests are coming against the Word He spoke to you and you will need to rise in faith.

 

See once the Word of God goes out, the enemy comes to steal the word (Matthew 13:19). So when you enter into 5780, you have to enter in with the faith that this will be the year that God will establish His covenant promises with you, and that you will begin to start seeing changes for your future that will benefit the kingdom of God.

 

I want to share with you the story of one who knew and understood that, and that is King David. David was set apart and consecrated at a young age to be the king, but it was many years before he ever actually sat on the throne. Now he had to go through all those years believing that he was anointed with oil and set apart, and that a promise was made to Him by God. God chose David for his heart and set him apart, but he was moved into a place where he had to remain quiet until the day that he was called to step forward. You know what day that was? That day was when he faced Goliath. So the day David was promoted was they day He had to enter a battle and operate in faith to kill the giant.

 

Now when God says He’s going to establish covenant with you, you will face Goliath.  In 1 Samuel 17:34- 37 (NIV), David says to Saul, “Your servant has been keeping his father’s sheep. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flock, I went after it, struck it and rescued the sheep from its mouth. When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it and killed it. Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God. The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.”

 

If God says he is going to establish you this year in the covenant promise that He made with you He’s going to rise you up and as you’re going forth, when you face the enemy before you, you will know who you are and you’ll be able to say, “But you enemy, you Goliath, you liar, you devil, you uncircumcised, non-covenantal god, you cannot take the covenant that I’ve entered into with God, because I know who I am. I know I’m circumcised and you are going down, because God is establishing His covenant with me.” The word “establish” in the Hebrew is the word “qum” which means to rise. You will rise in your faith and position in confidence to go forth because you know who you are in Him.

When God says, “I’m going to establish a covenant,” God’s saying, “I’m going to go before you. My name will go before you.” The circumcision to the Israelites was their identity (Genesis 17:10). That’s what set them apart from every other tribe on the planet. As believers in Jesus, we are set apart as circumcised members of the kingdom, which means we have a power that every other god and enemy on the planet does not have. We will be challenged just as David was challenged in his identity as the anointed and appointed one of God to be the King. David knew who he was. He had the oil poured over his head. He had exercised in his environment the fighting of the lion and the bear. So, all along he was equipping himself. We should be equipping ourselves as we are fighting lions and bears with the word of God, and with worship, prayer, fasting, and the spiritual disciplines.

One day your challenge for identity and the covenant promise God made with you will come, and when it’s your time as the anointed and appointed one to step into the position where God can establish His covenant, God will be there. When you pull out those five small stones, you’re going to knock that devil in the head without any trouble at all because the supernatural will come and do it for you because it’s all by faith and God said, “I’ve already established my covenant with you.” That thing is going down. It’s uncircumcised. It has NOT been set apart by a covenant with God Himself. You who are the circumcised ones in your hearts, have all the power, now step into place right now. Ezekiel 36 : 26-28 (NKJV) says ,” I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God.”

 

You have to realize if God is saying, “I’m going to establish covenant with you,” He’s also saying, “Are you prepared to fight Goliath with the word of God and all of the preparation that you’ve done behind the scenes where nobody saw?” All your closet prayers, all your tears, all the trials you faced in the early years with God by your side. All that preparation is now about to become fulfillment.

You are filled with the power of God so now pick up your five small stones and sling them, and ding-dong they’re going to hit the devil in the head and he’s going to be laid out. Why? He’s uncircumcised, you’re not. You’re part of the circumcised family of God. That’s your identity. This should be your mindset. When God says, “I’m going to establish covenant with you in 5780,” He’s saying, “I’m expecting you to stand up and be who I’ve called you to be. I’m expecting you to know your identity as a circumcised citizen of the kingdom, and stop bowing down to the Goliath who’s coming to steal the covenant that I’ve established with you. I’m expecting you to stand up and to fight for the kingdom, and to go forward and do what it is I’m calling you to do. I’m expecting you to repent. I’m expecting you to leave that sin. I’m expecting you to get yourself up every single time the devil knocks you down and keep on going. I’m expecting this of you.”

Why? Because you’re circumcised in your heart. So, the only way the giant’s going down is if you live by faith in knowing that it is God Himself who establishes the covenant. If God says He wants something done, it’s going to get done. If God says that He wants a victory in this area, there’s going to be a victory. God says, it’s His covenant. God will bring it to pass when you are faithful to live by faith. He is always faithful and He is not a man that He should lie. Everything to him is yes and amen, and it’s go forward, and it’s abundancy and it’s increasing, and its multiplication. You serve a good, good Father. You serve one that knows your pain, He knows your brokenness and He will not break a broken reed. He will not stab you when you’re down. He’ll lift a hand to you and He’ll lift you up, and He’ll look you in the eyes and He’ll say, “It’s okay son. It’s okay daughter, put it on. You just forgot who you are. The circumcision in me took care of it. Get yourself dressed and let’s go establish the covenant promise in 5780.”

I’m telling you this is going to be a dynamite year of establishing covenant promises, all because God said He wants to do it. We just got to get on board with him and stand up and fight the uncircumcised Philistines in our life, because we have his power, his strength, and his promise.

Open Heaven Access Through Righteousness

The heavens have been shifting rapidly as we approach the Hebrew New Year of 5780 and Rosh Hashanah at sundown on September 29, 2019. God is getting His people ready for double portion and one of the access points we have been given in the heavenlies is understanding our righteousness. At the beginning of 2019 the Lord had me share about standing in His righteousness and how this was a key for advancement this year. Well as we approach the new Hebrew calendar year God reminded me with two dreams this week that the righteousness of God is essential if we want to have open heaven access this New Year and always.  In the dream, the Lord was sharing with me the importance of having a righteousness that exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees.

 

In Matthew 5:20 (NIV) the scripture reads, “For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.”  Now no one on this earth can possibly have a righteousness that exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees of their own doing. We know it is impossible to keep the whole law, yet Jesus kept the law to the letter.

 

As Matthew 5:17-18 (NIV) reads, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.”

 

Jesus kept the whole law of God and as born- again members of His family we have met God’s requirements also. In addition to God’s requirements, He also lived to intervene by faith on our own laws. These laws are civil laws, standards, basic rules, and expectations that we incorporate into our lives and into our identities. People need laws because laws reveal lack areas and they have the appearance of covering fallen humans who need order, direction and guidance. There are good laws and bad laws, there are valid ones and invalid ones. No matter the laws, rules, standards or expectations, the good news is that Jesus came to meet the higher laws of God and satisfy God’s requirements for those who could not, which is us, fallen humanity. He also came to satisfy the failure of us not keeping our own laws, rules, standards and expectations that we consider to be a part of our identity. When fallen humans need an identity they will make one out of rules, regulations, standards and expectations. However, this is called self-righteousness or false righteousness. The Word of God tells us that we have been given His very own righteousness in our death, burial and resurrection in Him, and we have been stamped not guilty and we are enough in God’s eyes.

 

The Apostle Paul was challenged by the laws of God. He called them good and holy, yet he could not keep them. They were reminders of his failures and shortcomings and the more Paul wanted to please God and do what was right the more he discovered he could not.

 

He says, in Romans 7:4-6 (NIV), So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.  For when we were in the realm of the flesh, the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in us, so that we bore fruit for death.  But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.”

 

Paul was reminding the Galatians that the Law has a place but it is not the power of the promise, only Jesus is.

 

In Galatians 3:18-22 (NIV) the word says, “For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on the promise; but God in his grace gave it to Abraham through a promise. Why, then, was the law given at all? It was added because of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise referred had come. The law was given through angels and entrusted to a mediator.  A mediator, however, implies more than one party; but God is one.  Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law.  But Scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.”

 

Since righteousness comes by faith alone, Paul had to remember that the law was only a tutor to lead him and us to Christ. It was not the promise of our inheritance. What is the promise of our inheritance? It is that we are new creatures in Christ with a new identity that affords the benefits and blessings of being heirs to the promise.

 

People talk all the time about wanting open heaven access in the here in and now. It is possible, but we must understand first that we are heirs of the promise and we get our royal identity in Him alone. We do not get it from what we do, say, or connect ourselves to, that is called self-righteousness. God gives us His very own righteousness so that we can surpass that of our own self- righteousness based on the law, our titles, or what we can and cannot do, which is the performance of life.

 

In order to have open heaven access in the new Hebrew calendar year of 5780 and the new Gregorian calendar of 2020 we need to understand His righteousness is our access point. When we learn to walk in the royalty that we are by access through His blood then we walk without condemnation and this means we have freedom to exercise our faith that gives us access to open heaven encounters. You can only access the heavenlies by faith. The enemy wants us to live far below our inheritance as the children of God and under death and condemnation, but when we refuse to allow the law to strong arm us and we endeavor to live as free children of faith we will access heaven and its riches available to us.

 

The Apostle Paul did not want God’s chosen to live anymore in condemnation, fear, shame or anxiety because Jesus bought our freedom and wanted us to realize the fullness of the purchase by His blood.

 

Romans 8:1-4 (NIV) says, “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.  For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.”

 

This is our access point as the royal children of God. We can rest through the Spirit by faith as we have open heaven access because of His righteousness. We are not called to live by a false righteousness of bragging over all we do that is good or suffering terribly even for doing what is wrong, because in essence the righteousness that God is looking for is one by faith in what Jesus has already done. This is intense. This means access to open heaven encounters, heavenly riches and resources comes by faith that we have acquired these things already and have access everyday because of our righteousness in Him.

 

In Hebrews 4:14-16 (NASB) the author says, “Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Therefore, let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

 

We have access now, let us walk in this confidence! When Jesus walked the earth He was willing to heal and do miracles everyday and never questioned His inheritance and the open heaven access He had. He made a way for us that we would not either, yet we do because humanity carries a self-righteous focus. The enemy always reminds us of our sin, lack and weakness, so we must in the Hebrew Year of 5780 not let another day go by without making a commitment to live in the righteousness of Christ alone. We must wear His royal robe and crown that He gives to us in His word, and sit at the Royal Table in our hearts and minds with Him daily. Only then will we bless His heart and live out His desire, shared through the Apostle Peter, which is to be a royal and chosen generation.

 

1 Peter 2:9-10 (NIV) says, But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.  Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”

 

Therefore, we have received mercy and open heaven access by His very own righteousness through our faith in Jesus Christ alone. Let us then go forth and live as chosen royal people of God. Those who practice this heavenly perspective daily will be leading the next generation of believers into the victorious second coming of the King.
