A Time for Divine Alignments

The Lord began to speak to me about the fact that in this month of July, He was bringing His
people into a time of divine alignments. As the Hebrew New Year or Head of the Year 5780 is
coming on September 29, 2019 at sundown, when Rosh Hashanah begins, we will be entering a
time of double portion! This is amazing news, but this also means that God will be expanding
and strengthening our current foundations so we can handle a heavier load on the foundation of
our lives.

Now, when would God begin to do this?
He would begin about 3 months before the new year would start so that He could tear down,
uproot, and rebuild. In Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NIV), “There is a time for everything, and a season for
every activity under the heavens.” If you are going to be putting new levels on a home the
foundation must be strengthened. We just entered the Hebrew calendar month of Tammuz which
is the 4 th month on the religious or ecclesiastical calendar year, and the 10 th month on the civil
calendar. This is the right time for strengthening the foundations.

One of the foundations that God is working on this month is relationships. He is going to begin
to shift your relationships to accommodate the weight of double portion that is coming around
Rosh Hashanah time. This means you will begin to meet new people that God fashioned into the
plan of your life before the foundation of the world that would be divine connections for this
time and season. He is also going to be removing some people that you no longer need for this
new season that would’ve required a lot of management on your part. Whenever double comes
you have to be ready! Now not all of the relationships will be totally set aside, it may just be that
you will not spend as much waking time with some people that you have in the past. Instead of
coffee everyday with them, it might be coffee once a month. That is okay. Do not be nervous
about these changes, God needs you to follow His lead and begin to change some of these things
as new alignments are needed at this time for kingdom advancement.

These new alignments or divine connections are God’s realignment patterns for His purposes.
God is always advancing His kingdom. Psalm 121:2-4 (NIV) says, “My help comes from
the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip—He who watches over
you will not slumber; indeed, He who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.” Since
He never sleeps He is always changing things to move His kingdom forward.
So, how will God make these divine alignments for kingdom advancement?

The Lord has been sharing with me that He will go before us as in Isaiah 45:2 (NASB), “I will
go before you and make the rough places smooth; I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut
through their iron bars.” The NIV translation says, “I will go before you and will level the
mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron.” This month God
wants to go before you into the new places He is calling you to advance in the year 5780. He
wants to be, “the one who goes before you.” That word “before” in the Hebrew is the word
paniym which means, “face, countenance, favor.” So, if He says He will go before you this

month, then He is preparing the way to be your very own face, favor and countenance. Now that
means He is going to go before you in these divine alignments. He will be putting your name on
certain people’s hearts and mouth’s so that they will contact you. He will be putting a picture of
your face in their minds so they will think of you and reach out to you. And the same for you, as
you begin to see faces of people or hear names in dreams, visions, and prayer, you need to call
them out and reach out to them because they may be part of the divine alignments God is making
for you. In Revelation 3:8 (KJV), we read about what the Spirit of the Lord said to the angel of
the church at Philadelphia, “I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it.” God
has set these doors before you for His purposes and no man can shut them. God will go before
you through each of these doors of divine alignments and connections.

Now, what is another reason He would do that this month?
Well since this is the Hebrew month of Tammuz, historically this is when the Israelites waited at
the base of Mt. Sinai for Moses to come down with the law only to find that the people begin to
pull together all of their gold and silver to make a golden calf. In Exodus 32:1 (NIV), “When the
people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around
Aaron and said, ‘Come, make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who
brought us up out of Egypt, we don’t know what has happened to him.’”

That same Hebrew word, before, is paniym. They were actually thinking of letting an idol or
false god be the one that goes before them. That means they were thinking the golden calf would
be their face, favor and countenance. They had forgotten they were children of God, as they were
substituting the God of the universe to go before them for their own false gods. They had
forgotten their identity and were looking for something to pave the way ahead and be a god that
they could follow. If one goes before you, then you must follow.

The danger this month, is that we could choose to allow our false idols to go before us. We could
misinterpret the past relationships that were designed by God for just one season, or if those past
alignments met our basic needs, then we would want to hold on to them for fear of the unknown.
Responding this way means we may miss the new divine alignments God has designated for
favor this season. When humans build idols, we build them out of lack. No one builds an idol
when they feel they are abundant and without need. If you know who you are and whose you are,
you will be less likely to put your life into things that are not purposeful and kingdom focused.
The Israelites revealed this, only in their lack did they build a golden calf. Only in their
insecurity of who they were as a nation and where God was in all this identity confusion did they
make an idol and actually think it would be one that had the power to go before them. They were
about to elevate a false image and it would go before them as their very own face or identity.
In Exodus 20:1 (KJV) the word reads, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” This
commandment means only God is to be the one we worship. We must be aware we have a bent
as humans to put other gods before Him or He would not have told us that. So we must be
mindful. In the waiting period or the period of divine alignments we must have God go before
us in all of the relationships we make this month. We must trust in Him to connect us to the right
people for His kingdom advancement and for His building purposes as we approach the new year. We must not hang on to co-dependent relationships or addictive relationships or even good relationships that take up too much time and distract us from the bigger picture of kingdom advancement.

Let us remember this month, the same weakness that befell the Israelites could be our weakness
if we are not ready to move with God by submitting to Him to be our face which is His very own
favor and countenance which will go before us. We can see amazing things happen if we ask
God in prayer to take His rightful place in our hearts and go before us so we can follow him
strong to New Year 5780.

Keep the Fire Burning

On May 20, 2019, I awakened to a startling dream of people being in a cafeteria in what
appeared to be a contemporary hotel. They were getting their food on trays and seating
themselves. I was also in line to get some food when I looked out the window of the cafeteria
and saw a horrific sight. The windows were halfway covered with sea water and there were
people laying on rafts that appeared to be like large dead sea animals resembling whales. The
people could not keep their grip on the rafts and kept falling off them and each time they fell off
or their arms or legs got in the water they were being eaten by sharks. I was sick to my stomach
and tried to find a way to rescue them but as I looked around no one seemed to care as they ate
their food and continued to talk and just watch this massacre outside in the water.
I woke from the dream at this point feeling rather helpless yet with a burden of responsibility to
do something. I began to pray on this for about 24 hours and the Lord spoke to me clearly and
said, “The cafeteria represents the many churches that watch out the windows of my houses of
worship, eating spiritual food, yet doing nothing about those who are mine dying in the waters of
life. The brokenness of my people is like blood for sharks and the forces are coming to ravage
them but I need my people to stop being comfortable and get out there and I will save them.”
I was convicted in heart and soul assessing what I can do personally and how I can share with the
church, that not only does the Lord want to save the lost souls, He also wants to heal the
brokenness of His very own people. Our brokenness is like blood for the demonic forces. These
forces prey on the wounded and hurting. Yet the church is to find them within its own body, and
go out and find them in the streets and retrieve them from the depths of this mass sorrow. I asked
God, “How can we do this when our churches are so comfortable.” He said it is in
uncomfortableness that the spiritual gifts are activated. In other words, in the comfort and power
of His Spirit, we are commissioned to go into uncomfortable places and our gifts will be
activated. Since I pastor a church alongside my husband, I had to look at my own church and
assess whether we were doing this and if not how could we better.
God told me that at this time His people must learn to burn with fire and passion for Him and
that will overflow His Spirit into a need to save the lost sheep but also heal His sheep who are
broken and in need of repair. We must learn to light our own fire by fanning into flame that
which Christ has given us by the laying on of hands, the activation of our spiritual gifts.
The Apostle Paul had to remind Pastor Timothy to do this very thing.
In 2 Timothy 1:5-8 (NIV), the Apostle Paul says to Timothy, “I am reminded of your sincere
faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded,
now lives in you also. For this reason, I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in
you through the laying on of my hands.    For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but
gives us power, love and self-discipline. So, do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord
or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God. “
We have a job to fan into flame the gifts of God. We must learn to start our own fires. So many
times, the church wants someone to start their fire, well that is great and necessary at times and
God is good and sends those with evangelistic gifts into churches to do this. As a revivalist myself,

who goes into churches and ignites fires, I understand this gifting, but the greater
blessing is when the people of God know how to light their own fire without help. They know
how to begin to ignite their personal flame. When the fire burns low in their lives and the
embers are all they see, they can begin to blow on the embers and stir them so that a flame can
begin again.
Evangelists in our churches are necessary but it takes more than a mere visitation by a revivalist
who lights fires and brings the motivating power of God to the people of God. We as the body of
Christ, must tap into His fire as personal individuals within His global church body and know
how to keep our own fire burning.
The word says in Revelation 1:14-16 (NIV), “The hair on his head was white like wool, as white
as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire.    His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and
his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.   In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming
out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its
brilliance.”
His eyes are a blazing fire. He has fire in Him. This is a characteristic of God. His feet are like
bronze glowing in a furnace. His face is like the sun shining in all its brilliance. He is an on-fire
God, and we His children who are a part of Him should be too.
In the Song of Solomon 8:6 (NASB), the word says, “Put me like a seal over your heart, Like
a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death, Jealousy is as severe as Sheol; Its flashes are
flashes of fire, The very flame of the Lord.
He is the flame and we must tap into His flame daily. As Pentecost is quickly approaching on
Sunday June 9, 2019, we must remember that the church was ignited by flames of fire.
Acts 2:2-4 (NIV) in the word says, “When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in
one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the
whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated
and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak
in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”
To receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire is amazing but we must learn to continue to fan
into flame the fire of God. We must speak in tongues and stir up the gifts and power so that we
can go out and rescue the lost. It takes more than motivation and hype to keep the church going,
we must activate the Holy Ghost power the church already has within them. This is a
supernatural thing. Man cannot do this, but man can submit to a God who wants to do it in and
through us as His kingdom church. This is where discipline comes in. We seek Him daily and
pray in tongues and intercede, not because we feel like it, but because if we don’t someone may
die because our fire is burned out.
In Zechariah 4:1-8 (NIV), the word says, “Then the angel who talked with me returned and
woke me up, like someone awakened from sleep.    He asked me, ‘What do you see?’
I answered, ‘I see a solid gold lampstand with a bowl at the top and seven lamps on it, with seven
channels to the lamps.    Also there are two olive trees by it, one on the right of the bowl and the
other on its left.’ I asked the angel who talked with me, ‘What are these, my lord?’   He answered,

‘Do you not know what these are?’ ‘No, my lord,’ I replied. So he said to me, ‘This is the word
of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says
the Lord Almighty.   ‘What are you, mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level
ground. Then he will bring out the capstone to shouts of ‘God bless it! God bless it!’ Then the
word of the Lord came to me:   ‘The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple;
his hands will also complete it. Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you.’”

God will take care of His church the light of the world, and be the provision necessary for it
through His mighty Spirit. Therefore, the move to rescue the lost and the saved who are stuck
and being torn to pieces by the enemy is through His Spirit power alone. So, we must learn to
activate His Spirit with us. As the people of God, we must get in a place of praying daily in
tongues and interceding for the lost, and also those who are saved, but are living like devastated
and defeated Christians. If this country wants to see a reformation, then revival must come to the
house of God first, who living in His flames of fire, will ignite the lost to know a Savior.
The Apostle Peter shared in 1 Peter 4:16-19 (NKJV), “Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let
him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.   For the time has come for judgment
to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do
not obey the gospel of God? Now ‘If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly
and the sinner appear?’ Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their
souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator.”
Keeping the fire burning is our responsibility and it is not done by motivation only coming from
the five-fold ministry leaders of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher. Although our
job is to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up
(Ephesians 4:12, NIV) The people of God must also learn to do it themselves because they have
been taught well and equipped to do this on their own. The church as a whole needs this type of
disciplined focus in its membership.
Therefore, through personal discipline of the body seeking God individually and corporately,
regardless of whether we feel like or not, and fanning into flame His gifts continually by
speaking in tongues and walking in the boldness of the kingdom, we will be able to accomplish
this task of retrieving the lost and healing the broken. We must take a risk and move to
uncomfortable places where God will begin to activate our gifts and we will see Him use US
ALL to do miracles, signs and wonders. Only then will our personal revival fire bring
reformation to the church and salvation to the unsaved!

On Passover: New Mantles are Falling Down

Today on the Hebrew calendar the Passover begins, and Jesus is our Passover Lamb. On the
Christian calendar, we call it Good Friday. I had a dream this morning that He was giving new
assignments from heaven to people. I actually saw these mantles falling from heaven. Today is a
day to hold out your hand and receive the new mantle assignment God has for you. Why is this
significant? Because today is Passover and it is the day He took the third cup, which is the cup of
redemption that comes through suffering. Today is the day His destiny was fulfilled.

The word cup in the greek is poterion which means figuratively a lot or fate, and fate means
purpose and destiny. Today Jesus’ destiny was fulfilled and today He is giving out mantles from
heaven.

The night before Jesus’ death, He shared the Passover meal with his disciples. In Matthew 26:26-
29 (NIV), the word says, “While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given
thanks, He broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, ‘Take and eat; this is my body.’ Then He
took a cup, and when He had given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, ‘Drink from it, all of
you.  This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of
sins. I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink
it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.’”

He said this because He was the drink offering. He was the blood of the new covenant that was
in the cup. The cup He took with His disciples that night was the third cup in
the traditional Passover Seder meal that Jews will participate in. This cup is also called the cup of
blessing. The Apostle Paul in referring to Communion, also discusses this cup in 1 Corinthians
10:16 (KJV) when he says, “The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the
blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? For
we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.” And in 1
Corinthians 10:21 (KJV), when he says, “Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of
devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils.”

In Exodus 6:6-8, God gives 4 Promises of the Passover which are shared at traditional Passover
Seder meals, and one is revealed in the scripture which says, “I will redeem you with a stretched
out arm, and with great judgments.” So, who is the stretched out arm? Jesus stretching His arms
out and redeeming us as He took the judgment of sin upon Him so we would be set free and
death would pass-over us.

In the story of Jesus suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane. The same word cup is mentioned
here, in relation to the cup of redemption that comes from the suffering that He will endure on
the night of Passover. In Matthew 26:36-45 (NIV), the word reads, “Then Jesus went with his
disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and He said to them, ‘Sit here while I go over there and
pray.’ He took Peter and the two sons of Zebedee along with him, and He began to be sorrowful
and troubled. Then He said to them, ‘My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death.
Stay here and keep watch with me.’ Going a little farther, He fell with his face to the ground and
prayed, ‘My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you

will.’ Then He returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. ‘Couldn’t you men keep watch
with me for one hour?’ He asked Peter.  ‘Watch and pray so that you will not fall into
temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.’ He went away a second time and
prayed, ‘My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your
will be done.’ When He came back, He again found them sleeping, because their eyes were
heavy.  So, He left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same
thing. Then He returned to the disciples and said to them, ‘Are you still sleeping and resting?
Look, the hour has come, and the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners.  Rise! Let us
go! Here comes my betrayer!’”

Jesus asked three times, notice it was three times, that this cup of blessing, or redemption would
be removed from Him, if it was God’s will to do so. Jesus asks God for the cup or His destiny to
be stopped because of the suffering. However, the more He fought through the temptation by the
power of the Spirit, the more He was empowered to fulfill His destiny or will of God which was
to actually be “the blood of the new covenant” shed for us.
Jesus is saying at Passover, I will drink the cup of suffering and redemption and that is the
completion of my destiny. That is fulfillment of my destiny. Why is this important in relation to
mantles?

Because if today on Passover, Jesus is saying, “I am sending mantles from heaven for my
people”, He is saying the work is finished on the cross and redemption has been made therefore,
my destiny has been fulfilled and now you citizens of heaven and kingdom expanders will step
into your new assignments today. So, lift up your hands as your borders have been expanded, the
Kingdom of Heaven has come to earth, and new mantles are being released for you to walk in.
Ask Him about these mantles and find out which one He has given you for this new season. Ask
Him to teach you to walk in this mantle as new opportunities will open and you will be required
to exercise these mantles by faith!
