I have a powerful word for you today. Promotion time is here! It began on August 1st, and it will continue until August 15th. August is the eighth month on the Gregorian calendar and the number “eight” means new beginnings. On the Hebrew calendar, this period covers the last week of Av and the first week of Elul, the last month of year 5781. It is also the beginning of the rebuilding time in the Season of Teshuvah or repentance which culminates at Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, for the Jewish people, which is the Highest Holy Day of the year starting on sundown September 15-September 16. You see in the month of Av, during the Three Weeks of Sorrow from July 27-July 18 many of you were crushed and pulverized in your hearts and bodies.  This is just like the temple of the Lord had been destroyed in history by the Romans and King Nebuchadnezzar. If you felt crushed and pulverized in your body, which is the temple of the Lord,  you are now coming out into your time of promotion and God is cleansing your temple and rebuilding it in the month of Elul so you can carry double glory at Rosh Hashanah on sundown September 6 , the new Hebrew year of 5782.

After you went through testing and trials, and walked through the Three Weeks of Sorrow. This was all a time of transition. Transition can be hard, especially when your identity is rocked and you question who you are and who God is. But this reaction to transition is normal. Many heroes of the faith experienced the same at one point, even after they had seen great signs or miracles.

There was a man named Gideon, who found himself in this very situation. Judges 6:11-12 says, “And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abiezrite; and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the wine press to hide it from the Midianites. And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him and said unto him, ‘The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valor.’”

Powerful! The Lord sent an angel to Gideon even though his identity at the moment was not one of power and might. Gideon was feeling depressed. The Israelites were under oppression. Then God came! Even though Gideon was questioning the Lord after all the amazing things He had done, and here was His angel sitting under a tree! In God’s love and mercy He sent the message through an angel to call Gideon, “thou mighty man of valor.” God gave Him a new identity!

Maybe you feel oppressed today. You’re questioning the trials and testing; you’re asking the Lord, “Where are the miracles?” Be encouraged! God is going to build a new foundation in you! A new temple of God is emerging where glory will be present!

When God came to Gideon, He specifically spoke about how Gideon’s identity had to change. He had to stop identifying with loss, tragedy and oppression and begin to see himself as the mighty man of valor he was called to be! If he was going to come out in victory, he was going to have to renew his mind and thoughts to align with God’s declaration.

The same is true for you. Now is the time of change! If you’re going to transition into God’s strategies of promotion, you have to start seeing yourself as God sees you. Your identity is in Him and Him alone! You’ve got to start seeing things as God sees them. He is rebuilding you now for double glory!

Remember when the angel called Gideon a “mighty man of valor?” The word “valor” in Hebrew is the word “khalil,” and it means the glory of the Lord, the wealth and resources of God. So basically, the angel was saying to Gideon, “Hey, mighty man of valor. Hey, man with great resources who carries the Lord’s glory.” Praise the Lord!

If you’re feeling like you aren’t carrying the glory of the Lord right now, all you have to do is allow your identity to begin to shift and transition for this promotion time. You are going to carry more of the glory of the Lord when you find yourself in Him! Your new identity in Christ as a person of “valor in Him” is your new foundation for your temple for the new Hebrew year!

I’m telling you right now that on September 6th, when the calendar turns over on Rosh Hashanah, the brand-new Hebrew year of 5782, you’re going to walk in double glory! Yes! Double glory! There is going to be a double explosion coming. Prepare yourself! And share this with a friend who needs to be empowered to change their way of thinking.

A transition time is here. I know that some of you have continued to feel a crushing, pulverization, or even a heaviness. Others may still be going through a difficult time. It’s okay if you’re feeling this way. A transition time can also be difficult or feel like a crushing time.

After the transition, trial or crushing comes, you now have to rethink how you are going to make changes, live your life and determine what God is calling you to do. There can be many questions but one thing is certain – you must abide in Him.

In John 15:1-5 it says, “I am the true vine, and My Father is the husbandman. Every branch in Me that beareth not fruit He taketh away; and every branch that beareth fruit, He purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the Word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abide in the vine, no more can ye, unless ye abide in Me. I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in Me and I in Him, the same bringeth forth much fruit, for without Me ye can do nothing.”

Abiding in Him is a very important truth that you need to grasp from this passage. Abiding in the vine, the Lord, is necessary if you want to see amazing results happen during this transition time. Just like physical branches get purged, you may be experiencing a time where things have been cut back and purged. It hurts. But no matter what emotional battle you are fighting, whether it was anger, frustration, discouragement, depression or oppression; you cannot disconnect yourself from the Lord.

Instead, allow this time to be a time of repentance and ask the Lord to reinstate His divine nature in you. Staying connected allows you to receive nutrients from the true vine , Jesus.
Tell Him, “Lord, I’ve been through this crushing, but I want to abide in You. I want to get closer to you. I want to hear your voice. Give me the knowledge I need for this time of transition. Amen.”

This is so vitally important because intimacy and a relationship with the Lord is the only thing that will help you walk through this transition time.

Stay encouraged! A new wine and a new birth are breaking and coming forth! This will take place during the promotional time on August 1-15th and you are going to be experiencing it!

Seasons are shifting and you are properly being positioned to step into your new season!

I know you have been through a lot lately. I have too! It’s been a time of testing and trials during the 3 Weeks of Sorrow. On the Hebrew calendar, the three-week period ended July 18th, which is also the 9th day of Av.

During this time, the Jewish people remember a few things: how the Israelites worshipped a golden calf while Moses was on Mount Sinai, how he broke the 10 Commandments in anger when he saw their idolatry, and how the temple was destroyed once by the Romans and again by King Nebuchadnezzar on the same day but in different years!

The 9th of Av is a very solemn time. It’s also a time to repent and ask the Lord what you may be worshipping instead of Him. It’s a time to pray and fast, to re-consecrate yourself to Him and to following His will.

Did you know that your body is a temple? You are a holy temple, and the Spirit of the Lord lives within you!

Do you feel attacked? Destroyed? You may be wounded, heartbroken or experiencing a great trial right now, but let me tell you – new wine is coming forth in the midst of this! God is bringing forth something new that will carry you into your next level of promotion, coming in August!

You’ve endured this time of testing, but I don’t want you to be discouraged. YOU ARE CALLED to wear a mantle of splendor. Your mantle doesn’t change in the trial. You are part of the body of Christ. You are the Kingdom of God made manifested in the earth. Keep your eyes on Him, stay steady and remain firm in knowing that HE is going to bring you through! A great glory has come upon you, and you are being filled with new wine, a greater presence of the Lord, and fresh glory.

Now let me give you some scriptures that the Lord laid on my heart about staying in proper alignment during this time. You have got to keep your focus. The Apostle Peter says in 2 Peter 1:3-4, “His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.”

Take time today to set aside all evil desires or anything that could mess up your relationship with the Lord. Stand in the knowledge of His love and beauty. It will be a great place of freedom for you and the foundation you need to stand on His precious promises.

In 2 Peter 1:5-9 it says, “For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.”

You see, when you truly come alive in Christ, you develop great compassion and remember how the Lord cleansed your heart and life. You know how to stand in the divine promises of the Lord and grow in His virtues. Determine in your heart to grow daily and increase in the attributes of Jesus.

Stay steady! Even though you’re still currently in the Three Weeks of Sorrow (until July 18th), take this time to remember and reflect on a few things: How the Israelites worshipped the golden calf, how Moses broke the 10 Commandments at the sight of idol worship, the destruction of the Temple (twice), and most importantly, a time of repentance.

You need to make sure your life is in alignment with the Lord. Lay down whatever you are worshipping or exalting above the Lord.

But what if you feel oppression? Maybe your own personal temple is being attacked right now? Maybe it’s your health, family, job or other parts of your life that are being tested? Do you find yourself having to stand firm and stand in faith? Is there an assault against your mind? It’s in these times you have to remember that the Lord is sending you in HIS STRENGTH!

In Judges 6:11-16, it says,“The angel of the Lord came and sat down under the oak in Ophrah that belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, where his son Gideon was threshing wheat in a winepress to keep it from the Midianites. When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, ‘The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.’ ‘But sir,’ Gideon replied, ‘If the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us? Where are all his wonders that our fathers told us about when they said, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up out of Egypt?’ But now the Lord has abandoned us and put us into the hand of Midian. The Lord turned to him and said, ‘Go in the strength you have and save Israel out of Midian’s hand. Am I not sending you?’ ‘But Lord,’ Gideon replied, ‘how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.’ And the Lord said, ‘I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites together.’”

Have you ever wondered where God was in your life? I find it interesting that in this passage we see there was a time of great sorrow and oppression, BUT GOD! He raised up Gideon. He raised him up even though Gideon saw himself as one who was oppressed and weak. The Lord says, “My power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9). Praise the Lord! Do you see that? You just need to confess to the Lord when you are weak.

If you’re going through a difficulty right now, just say, “Lord, I’m feeling weak. Reveal to me what I need to change, how to put things into alignment with You, and what I need to restructure in my life. Open my eyes to the things that cannot go with me in my time of promotion.” When you do this, He will come, show you things, and make you strong! He is faithful! You will come through this time of testing!

Promotion time is coming – even if you don’t feel like it! Your strength comes from the Lord. You are part of God’s perfect plan. Go in the strength that He has given you. (See Judges 6:14)

You have just received a new mantle assignment from the Lord. Now, you have quickly moved into what is called the Three Weeks of Sorrow or Between the Straights on the Hebrew calendar. This period started on the 17th of Tammuz (June 27th) and ends on the 9th of Av (July 10th).

In this three-week period, there are going to be intense trials and circumstances. I know that some of you have already been experiencing difficult times and have stepped into intense situations and spiritual warfare. You must know that there will be things that will challenge your faith and the mantle assignment God has given you during this time. Even though things may be very difficult right now and hard to process or understand, this is happening because you’ve entered this pre-promotional time and your new mantle is being tested. It is truly a test of faith.

I want to share a passage that I believe will encourage you. In I Peter 1: 6-9 (NASB) the Apostle Peter says, “ In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.”

I know what you’re going through has been hard, and I have also been experiencing some intense spiritual warfare. Even if you try to avoid or ignore it, it pays attention to you. It will manifest. The power of God’s calendar will come forth, and then all of a sudden you will find that your faith is being tested.

I get so encouraged by the Scriptures personally. I know that my faith is being tested, but it’s going to result in praise, glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ! Your faith is going to show that it’s more precious than gold. Gold is perishable, but your faith is imperishable! It helps you enter into the realms of heaven.

God is asking you to rejoice in the midst of your trial. This is a test in and of itself! He wants you to count it all joy. No matter what the enemy throws at you, COUNT IT ALL JOY! When I’m in a trial, I laugh at the enemy and start praising the Lord. Remember, the joy of the Lord is your strength.

If you count it all joy during this time and walk in your new level of authority, the enemy cannot defeat you.

Do not be angry at God because of these trials. The circumstances may be difficult, but they are not too difficult, and the spiritual warfare is not too hard. God is for you. He will help you! Love on Him, even in the midst of the challenge.

You got promoted. Now walk it out! Keep your mind on the things above. I speak life into you right now, in the mighty name of Jesus.

The last couple of weeks, I’ve been sharing with you about mantles from heaven. This new mantle assignment that has been put upon your life – you’re going to have to seek the Lord for it.

You may be experiencing a difficult time receiving your mantle because there is always a lot of spiritual warfare during transition. Any time there is an uptick in spiritual warfare, it is evidence that a transition is happening and a new mandate is upon you.

You may also feel the heaviness of God’s splendor and majesty upon you right now. It comes along with the new mantle. You might even be saying, “Lord, I don’t know where I’m headed. I need understanding on this new vision, this new thing you are setting up for me.” If that’s the case, then I want you to remember the story of Elijah and Elisha.

2 Kings 2:8-10 “And Elijah took his mantle and wrapped it together and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither so that the two went over on dry ground. And it came to pass, when they had gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, ‘Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee.’ And Elisha said, ‘I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.’ And he said, ‘Thou hast asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.’

And it came to pass, as they still went on and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it, and he cried, ‘My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and the horsemen thereof!’ And he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.”

He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him and went back and stood by the bank of the Jordan. And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him and smote the waters and said, ‘Where is the Lord God of Elijah?’ And when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither; and Elisha went over.”

God is saying to you today, “SEE the strategy!” You are a spirit being who lives in a soul and has been placed inside an earthly body. That means you need your spiritual eyes to see what the Lord has released upon you. You need a heavenly perspective. As you begin to see this, you will begin to develop a God-given strategy for what is coming.

You need spiritual discernment to be able to understand what God is doing. This is a supernatural thing that manifests on the earth. Remember, Elijah told Elisha, “If you see me when I am taken, you will receive it.” Well, Elisha saw it! He saw the heavenly host, the angels of fire and the angelic event happening!

You need to be touched by heaven too. The manifestation takes place after you are touched spiritually. You need to be in that place where heaven is open and you walk confidently with the heavenly host and the angles of fire.

The mantle you’re receiving is positioning you to carry out the plans and purposes of God in August and September.

This a Spiritual Test – Our Nation is Being Cleansed

Given all we are going through as a nation, I thought this word that I spoke on Sunday November 1, 2020 would be relevant to share today. I sent this out to my email list on Election day, Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Read the prophetic word below under the date.

This prophetic word below for month of Cheshvan, is relevant as President Trump has found himself in this very place. On Cheshvan 17 which began Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at sundown was also the exact day the flood rains came after Noah had prepared the Ark in 2105 BCE. Now, we as a nation have found ourselves in a flood, as we are in a time of testing and we will see the deliverance of the Lord. We repented during Yom Kippur and had multiple rally’s in Washington, DC, well now is a time to remember that we are clean as a nation and when you declare and decree clean, then God makes those who repent actually clean in spirit, soul and body. The spirit, soul and body of our nation are being cleansed and healed so that we will start a new system where the roots of evil will be eradicated. We are only experiencing what we prayed for. I know we prayed for a godly President to rule but the issues ran must deeper. So, as Americans let us stand together and continue to pray for God to clean the root system of our nation and bring about the true blessings of our Constitution and the unity, peace, justice, righteousness and the elements of a godly culture. We are also seeing this play out with the recent confession of Carl Lentz, the past senior leader of Hillsong East Coast in New York,  who God is also cleansing and making whole before our eyes. God loves His people and this nation and He will heal us and cleanse us to the core so that we shine bright for His glory. Global glory is coming but it cannot until root systems are cleansed. Wait, watch and listen as God will continue to reshape America for justice, righteousness, and the American way.

Here was the prophetic word from Sunday, November 1, 2020 sent out on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2020.

God is Doing Mighty Things

God is doing mighty things! During this current Hebrew month of Cheshvan, rain and restoration are coming upon you, child of God. God is pouring down blessings upon your life! Last month and this month God said you will receive excessive rain and excessive blessings (Joel 2:23)!

But take heed: this is also a time of testing. Just like Noah was tested when God told him to build the Ark, and to take aboard his family and two of every kind of animal, you will endure some tests. Rain came upon him for 40 days and 40 nights and flooded everything. He had to put his complete trust in God for every moment of the journey. Yes, rains of blessing are coming upon you, but it’s also a time of testing.

God doesn’t want you to hold on to what you are receiving this month. He will send the rain and then ask you to release the blessing to someone else. He doesn’t want you to be attached to it. It is so important that you trust God enough to release it as He tells you to. When you do, you show Him that you believe He is your provider and healer, that He is perfect love, life, joy, peace and all you need. In a sense, your actions tell God, “Lord, I really trust You for WHO You are!”

Problems come when you try to grab ahold of the rain (blessings, provision). The more you hold on to it, the harder it will be to release it when the Lord tells you to. You must hold it loosely! God is sending things to you, but He could ask you to give them up as quickly as they come.

Back to Noah. Imagine him in the Ark with all kinds of animals and his family, trusting God to provide for their needs and safely carry them to dry land. Awesome faith! After the rain ended, the blessings came. They began to rebuild. Be encouraged that this test of yours isn’t going to last much longer. You may be feeling like you are giving things away at a rapid pace, but God is testing your heart. God wants to make sure you don’t love the rain (blessings) and forget about Him.

Do you know that God your Provider is all you need? You have access to all you need from your ascension seat in Him. The only thing that causes a blessing delay is FEAR. Fear is an element of separation that began in the garden. But good news! Jesus defeated death, sin and the grave! When He ascended into heaven, you were seated with Him in heavenly places and given access to His storehouse.

I hear the Lord saying, “Do not be concerned about your health issues. I have your health in My hands. I am releasing what is necessary in order to bring healing to your body, mind and soul.” Hold on to this word. Do not give place to fear. Hold onto the Word and release your faith. In other words, you may need to take an action step: take communion, proclaim, declare and decree over your body the healing power of Jesus. “By His stripes, I have been healed. I’m ascended with the Lord and seated with Him. I have no pain in this area.” Then maintain your healing by standing on the Word in faith and staying focused on Christ.

With rain, the water flows. Get excited! God is doing great things. Thank Him for it and watch it come to pass! Let me pray for you today: “Father, remove any fear, worry or anxiety that pertains to my friend’s health, finances, family or relationships.  Jesus, release the rain from heaven upon them. Give them peace and let them know You have taken care of every need. Help them to release Your blessing instead of clutching it tightly in fear. Restore them Lord, in Jesus name, amen.”

I want you to declare this over your life: I am portal that is permanent. I will do whatever God asks me.  I will thank the Lord in all things. I will honor and respect God my Provider. I am a releaser. I will release the rain that is coming to me, and I will not be attached to it!
