Praise the Lord! God is doing amazing things during this month of miracles. He wants you to prosper, increase and have multiplication in your life.
At this time many years ago, the Maccabees defeated the Syrian-Greek army after they destroyed the Temple. After the fight, the Maccabees found a small vile of oil. Typically, an oil vile would contain only enough oil for one day’s burn, but this oil burned in the Temple for 8 days! It was a miracle!
The Lord has been speaking to me that not only will this be a season of miracles for you, but it will be a time for you to begin to flourish and prosper.
I used to pray, “Father, just give me increase. How can I be more of a blessing to the body of Christ? How do I step into that place of really bringing forth fruit?” The Lord always took me back to Psalms 1:1-3. Let’s focus on what that scripture says,
“How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.”
Why is this so important? Because the only way to increase and prosper every day is to position yourself to know more of the Word of God. We must take time to memorize the Word of God, speak the Word of God, and work the Word of God in your life.
Did you know that Jesus is the Word made flesh? In John 1:14 it says, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”
You see, if you want to be a person who brings forth the blessings and fruit, you have to know Him more. You have to know His Word more. You are a blessing when you delight yourselves in Jesus, the Word of God.
When you are growing in your relationship with Christ and meditating, constantly repeating, His Word, then your faith increases and turns into action. Action produces more fruit and grows your spirit.
Maybe you have trouble studying or reading the Word, or you’re not able to position yourself to receive from the Word. I break that off your life right now in the mighty name of Jesus! I decree that you will begin to read the Word, be able to meditate on it, understand it, and live by it – starting today.
Purpose today to put behind you the ways of the flesh and live a healthy and prosperous life! Before you know it, you will actually be bringing forth fruit from the Word. You will be like an oak of righteousness planted by the rivers of Living Waters, producing much fruit!
