Double-mindedness Increases Demonic Warfare (Episode Three Article)

Demonic warfare is something we are all faced with as the enemy is seeking entrance through doubts in our minds over difficult situations in our lives. However, if we can learn to be single-minded in our devotion to the Lord we can decrease the amount of entry the enemy gets in our minds through doubt and fear and instead combat his tactics through faith.

In 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (NIV), the Apostle Paul tells us that, “the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.’

We are called to take every thought captive to obedience to Christ which encourages us to remain in Him as single-minded and devoted to the Lord.

2 Corinthians 11:3 (NIV) says, “But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.’

This pure and simple devotion is to have a single-minded focus on the Lord at all times. This means living in the reality of faith daily which ultimately pleases God. The enemy is prowling around looking to devour us (1 Peter 5:8) and we must keep our eyes on Christ to close the door on his lies and deception. If we walk with double-mindedness by lacking faith we open the door to fear and can be easily overrun by Satan’s scheming.

James 1:5-8 (NASB) says, “But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.”

Let us learn to be stable in our ways by walking in faith, living by faith and standing in faith. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1.KJV) Faith is a reality and we can touch it in the spiritual and natural realms. Anywhere we are weak in our faith we are a target. So, let us attempt to strengthen our faith walk and close the door, for health, healing and blessings to flow.

Stay In Your Heavenly Seat in 2020

In 2020, God wants His church to begin to realize the power of being seated with Christ in heavenly places. The Apostle Paul spoke of these truths as though they were to be evident by Christ’s body on a daily basis. We have been crying out to God for centuries for Him to return, well this is a key that can catapult His return in this decade. We must live with our spiritual senses of sight, hearing, taste, touch, and smell focused on the things of the Spirit. This will enhance our ability to be remain seated with Him in heavenly places in our souls.

How then in 2020 can the church, Christ’s body, prepare for Christ’s return? The answer is in our ability to stay seated spiritually in the heavenlies with Christ, manifesting this by faith in our mind, will and emotions. This means our soul needs to submit to our spirit and we must keep our minds on things above, such as our spiritual position in Christ. The Apostle Paul received revelation from heaven on his spiritual position in Christ and he had many writings on this subject.

In Ephesians 2:5-7 (NIV), he shares with the church at Ephesus that, we have been, “made alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.  And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.”

We need to know our heavenly seat and stay there no matter our circumstances and distractions from the enemy. As we enter the New Year 2020 we need to make sure we are keeping our eyes and heart on things above where Christ is seated, at the right hand of God (Colossians 3:1).

In 2020. I believe God wants His church to begin to prepare for His return by focusing on our spiritual position in Christ as His body. As we live by faith in this area we are preparing His kingdom. He will only come back when His bride is ready. That means we must live by faith in these truths now.

The Lord also says clarity is coming to your soul in 2020. Clarity involves your spiritual sight. This includes your mental and spiritual understanding of being seated in the heavenly realms with Christ.

The Hebrew Year 5780 started at sundown on September 29, 2019, this began the decade of the Hebrew letter Pey which means mouth. Since 2020 on the Gregorian calendar is the year of vision and clarity, as clarity comes to our souls (mind, will and emotions) we will be preparing ourselves to speak with our mouths.

Psalm 34:7 (KJV) says, “O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.”

Therefore, activate your spiritual taste and speak with your mouth. The greater clarity we have in our souls, the greater alignment with the heart of God to speak in faith. God is preparing His people to live seated with Him in heavenly places in the here and now, and you will gain clarity of this in your soul this year.

He made a way through our death, burial and resurrection in Him, now it is time to stay positioned, in our seats on His lap, at the royal table. and remain, regardless of enemy distraction. It is here you will manifest the presence of God for overflow in 2020.
